It began with simple curiosity. For the longest time, tea had always been something ordinary to me, just another drink, and my knowledge barely extended beyond the brands I saw at convenience stores. Then I discovered that, for some people, tea is almost a ritual, approached with reverence, dedication, and devotion.
Sitting around the same table with people I’d never met before, listening to their stories, I realized that my own curiosity, and how little I knew, had unexpectedly opened the door to an entirely new world. I left with far more than a cup of tea.
